Rectangles divided into (mostly) unequal squares.

Excellent, painless algebra I drill: Hardcopy these. Assign length 1 to the smallest feature, and length x to an adjoining feature. Fill in all the edges you can in terms of x. This will usually overdetermine the overall height or width, thus providing an equation determining x and hence the sizes of all the squares. Sometimes x is determined even sooner. But sometimes, you need a y!
